Meta Group is an art group founded by Bai Xiaomo and Qian Honglin at the China Academy of Art in 2015, mainly engaged in the creation and performance of  live audiovisual art. They have performed or projects in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi’an, Shijiazhuang and other cities. Qian Honglin is a Chinese artist who lives and works in Shenzhen, his works cover installation art, new media art, digital art and sound art, Bai Xiaomo is a Chinese new media artist who lives and works in Chengdu, he uses computers as tools, develops software programs, uses data and algorithms to generate music, sound and images, or generates computer instructions to control lights, motors, robotic arms, Tesla coils and other equipment to create cross-media interactive artworks, his works cover chamber music, electronic music, audio-visual art live performances, Music installations, sound installations, video installations, lighting installations, electronic installations, kinetic installations and archival inkjet printings.
